Last night we played the CKDU Benefit at Attic with Montgomery Moth, Mardeen, and the Holy Shroud. I had wanted to play a show with the Holy Shroud since the first time I saw them (a little over two years ago), I don't think I would have picked the Attic for that to happen, but regardless I was pretty excited about the show.
The show itself was pretty fun. We played to a sparsely populated room, but that comes with being the opening band. I really love playing in a band with Mitch, Greg, and Lachie. Lachie and I will have been playing in bands with each other for about 10 years pretty soon. We should probably just settle down and get'er done. I am really excited about going on tour and the possibility of playing with some great bands.
I didn't feel so great after we played and I'm not sure why. Whatever.
Highlights of the show were Johnny playing a Dirtbombs song (Stuck Under My Shoe) and a Replacements song (Kiss Me On The Bus) and getting a Pennywise sticker from CKDU.
