These blogs : Sex and the Library, Tales from the Liberry, and Library Jezebel are fucking great.
Does Rebecca, who recommended the first blog (and I'm pretty sure the third one) and still read this?

Often when I read other people's journals, I get bent out of shape because I see their friends leave them notes like "You're not a plus size model! I love you! We should get drunk and go to irony night at the hit dance club tonight!" and I wonder why I don't have 'goofy' friends leaving me messages like that.
I had been puzzled by the graffiti in the 2nd floor washroom for a few days, "Why do scientists bother with theories?"
Was it a joke? Did I have to wait a pre-determined amount of time until the punchline was revealed to me?
Was it placed there in order to spark some heavy philosophical pondering? Why do (I had written this originally with the stress on the 'why'; I said the quiet part loud, and the loud part quiet) scientists bother with theories? A question with no answer, just more answers.
Was it a taunt from a frustrated arts student?
I was deeply troubled by the question and it's resulting implications. What did this mean to the University science community?
Today while pondering how long it really takes for gum to digest, I was blessed with an answer to the question. Someone had scrawled "Cuz Ur Gay" underneath the question that had haunted my thoughts.
As I absorbed the answer, someone in the stall next to me start to hum (and continued to do so for the next 2 minutes) 'Oh Canada'.
