After the game last night Michael and I got on a big baseball uniform kick. We started talking about the ugliest sports uniforms and obviously the White Sox pyjama party uniform came up, as well as the Whaler' cooperalls, and the 1972 San Diego Padres' uniforms which Michael thinks look 'tough', but I think are terrible.
Later he played me a great Buck 65 song recorded for the CBC radio song. The track is called 'Anthem' (I think) and essentially it's just Buck 65 rapping baseball nicknames. Some of them are pretty recognizable (The Splendid Splinter, Catfish, Babe) and some are obviously less so (Kitten, The Barber, Sunny Jim). You can hear the song here. Is it as good as Cubs in Five? I dunno, don't ask me.
