We're Headed Up My Mom's Ass!

I am working for a tv show that is going to air on Global and I need your help, if possible. We're sending a crew out to the West Coast to film weird and unusual stories. I was hoping that some of you might be able to suggest some locations or people that could prove to be interesting for their sheer absurdity or wackiness. I realize this is all subjective, but it's tv and you know what they put on tv, so I'm sure you know what I mean by absurd or wacky.

Some examples of stuff we're thinking about covering/filming:

The Ground Hog Museum in Torrington, AB
Vulcan, AB
The Merman in Banff, AB
