This may be a little late, but for those stuck at work (Paul 'Hammer' Hammond) or home (bedridden Greg Boone I'm looking in your direction) you can always keep up to date on the going's on at Bearly's pub and their feelings on the Presidential visit via this link.
Personally I'd be a dedicated follower of a permanent Bearly's weblog. Who cares what the regulars think about George Bush's visit, what do they think of Scott Petersen (killer or monster)? Andre Dawson's chances at being elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame? Class conciousness?
The Halifax Peace Coalition's decision to hold their press conference in front of a giant banner that said 'He's Not Welcome, Eh' is the equivalent to protesters adopting slogans like 'George Bush for the Nobel Peace Prize....NOT!' or 'Ima vote for Bush in the next election...PSYCHE!'
