I spend a pretty long time today checking out the Blue Jays Memory Project. It's a site featuring recollections of readers of Batter's Box Magazine.
My favourites are :
Kevin Batiste-Got caught trying to bring a gun into Canada.
Frank Catalanotto-Uses "Down with the Sickness" by Disturbed as his at-bat music
Orlando Hudson-Once said (I hope I have the quote right) that J.P. Ricciardi's wardrobe made him look like a pimp.
Luis Leal-Sportswriter John Robertson wrote that Leal got knocked out early on Mr. Submarine Sport Bag Day in 1984 so that he could get first dibs on the large, party sub in the Jays clubhouse.
Mike Maksudian-Used to eat insects in the bullpen
