The Margaret Thrasher 7" is fantastic. I had to start it over three times to make sure that I hadn't accidently put the needle in the middle of a song. There's no buildup in the first song, no intro at all. I love a 45 that dispenses with the unnecessary.

Listening to records in the kitchen gave me the inspiration to tackle the kitchen cupboards and clear out products that expired before the two towers fell. It made me cry a little handling artifacts from a pre-911 world. Our innocence is lost.

Dave K came home in the middle of the Teenage Bottlerocket record and we rearranged the kitchen and cleaned the deck while listening to the Bayonettes. That 7" rules! This house rules!

It's nice having a more organized kitchen. Will this mean that I'll make more meals at home and listen to more records?
Maybe.

Tonight I interviewed Littles the General. He was interviewed for a Street Cents I worked on about freestyling and he never fails to impress me. He's got a really great d.i.y. attitude and exudes confidence without coming off as arrogant. Even though it's a short piece, I hope it turns out ok.

Lachie's head stock hit me just above my eye during our set at the Regulations show. It was just as much my fault as it was his. I look like I a bit of skid now with my slowly growing beard and the small cut at the corner of my eye, Kara says I look tough. I know she means it as a compliment, but I don't really want to look tough.

The Regulations show went pretty well, I lost a little bit of money, but it was worth it to see so many great bands.
So many people helped me out. I would have lost my mind if they hadn't been around. I've been stressed out about this show for the last two weeks, I'm glad it went so well. In my singlemindedness, I know I have been neglecting a lot of things, so I had better get back on track.

I think I may start by reading Oracle Night by Paul Auster.
