Sort of like Born Dead Icons, One Eyed God Prophecy, Groundwork, and Jesuit*, Dresses is the band that I'm in with Tim Kirkwood, Jeff Smith and Mike Day. We're going to play our first 'show' tomorrow night (Tuesday) in Hell's Kitchen (the lower part of the Marquee) at the Dean Malenko's Jamboree.
I'm pretty nervous about this.
I hope that people show up.
I hope they also like it.
*But obviously not as good so don't be disappointed.

"We did our best"
Two men are found in a van, the interior is covered in blood. A third man lies dead, beaten to death with a baseball bat and a screwdriver. He's left to die in the woods with 95 cents in his pocket. One man testifies against the other. The former is found guilty of being an accessory after the fact and is sentenced to two years house arrest, the latter is acquitted by a jury.
The Cape Breton Regional Police did their best.

I don't believe in bad luck. Whenever something seemingly catastrophic happens to me, I chalk it up to cosmic payback for something I did I haven't punished for. Like today, losing 580 dollars, that's obviously my due for some terrible act I committed.
I'm sure there's some things that I'll never be able to pay back.
And I don't mean my credit card, nyuk nyuk.
