Another thing I'm greatly excited about is my new home, 6015 Willow Street. Not that I didn't love Bloomfieldia because I did, it's just that I now have a much bigger room and I'm living with one of my best friends.

There's another great thing about Willow Street aside from its Can Do attitude and it's this guy. He chases his tail literally hourly. He's also really rad to just hang out with.

Paul claims his poop smells like pizza. I tend to disagree. And when I say his poop I am in fact referring to Elliot's poop and not Paul's. Paul on no occasion has ever asked me to smell his poop or claimed that his poop has any particular odor.

Now Vickers if you're reading this post, do not think in any way that you and I are not tight or that you've been replaced. Elliot may have his nuts still intact, but there's noone who does a Merv Griffin impression quite like you.

FUCK! I'm one of those 'cat' people now.

Anyway please come over and visit.

I saw two Expos games when I was in Montreal. The first one was a blow-out and the Expos lost 9-0. Russ Oritz (Braves) took a perfect game into the 6th inning and Andruw Jones hit a grand slam homerrun. The second game was a lot better. The Expos won 4-3 in 12 innings on a Tony Batista RBI double (he had been 0 for 26 previous to that at bat).

I'm sure noone is that interested in the game so I'll spare everyone any more specifics about the game.

The Expos, in an attempt to increase attendance, offered a promotion to the first 5,000 fans at the game. The promotion was a Larry Parrish Russian doll.

I've already come across about a half dozen listings on E-bay for these things. Most of them are going for about 12-14 dollars plus shipping and handling.

It was a pretty exciting set of games to see. I hadn't been to the 'Big O' since I was a kid and it was really invigorating to see such a great baseball game where every inning counted. I clapped, I cheered, I booed, I hooted, I even jumped up.

I ended up buying a black Expos cap (I originally wrote 'I ended up buy a black Expos cap') and a Quebec Nordiques ringer t-shirt. I feel silly getting excited about such things, but honestly it's what makes me happiest right now...buying things! Baseball of course.

I could feel the wooden handles slipping through my fingers as we walked like eight penguins.

I had to carry the back end of the coffin for most of the funeral procession. Despite the help of the seven other solemn looking penguins I nearly buckled under the weight.

I usually am not one to partake in tradition or ritual. I hate feeling as though something is expected of me, but this was obviously different. I hate writing these words, but I didn't feel worthy enough to be carrying the body of my uncle to his final resting place. I wanted to do my uncle proud, I suppose more accurately, I want to make his family proud. What an asshole thing to write, I'm sure the last thing on their mind was how well I carried the coffin.
