Due to the recent rash of swarmings and bizarre crimes in Halifax, these two have decided to temporarily step up and patrol Halifax's mean streets.

Ward Churchill not only hates America but Canada and its academics too.

Apparently Churchill published the work of Dalhousie professor, Fay Cohen, without proper citation according to some sources, other sources aren't as polite and claim that Churchill not only published the article without permission, but threatened Cohen with violence when she complained. Some feel that Churchill is taking the philosophy from his seminal work, 'Pacifism as Pathology' to the academic world.

For now Churchill keeps his job, his essay on Sept 11th is protected under Free Speech. He hasn't committed any academic crimes by writing and publishing the essay which is extremely critical of U.S. Foreign policy (fair) and isn't entirely flattering of those who perished in the disaster. The essay in sure won't cost him his tenure, directly. Unfortunately for Churchill that's not good enough for some people and they've decided to examine holes in his military service record, his genealogy, and his problems with citations.

Essentially Churchill isn't being punished directly for what he wrote, but he's being informed that what you write influences what people are willing to overlook. Everyone is concerned with what's in Churchill's closet and noone gives a fuck about what he wrote.
