I saw the Cherrybrook bus today and a great idea struck me. They should rename buses after the famous people who live in those communities. Of course you'd get some duds like when you're trying to decide who to name a Fairview route after (who lives in Fairview that's important?), but you could have a lot of fun with places like Cherrybrook.
Your first thought would be to name it The Gary Beals Express, but that really doesn't make me want to ride the bus. The Gary Beals Experience sounds too dated, but what about BEALS MANIA! It's fucking timeless.
I've had no desire to ever visit Cherrybrook before, but if they renamed it 'Beals Mania' you can bet I'd be riding that sucker like twice a week. I'd make excuses to go over like "I'm just heading over to cherrybrook, I hear they sell coca cola bubblegum over there" or "I hear there's a great game of 45's going on at the Cherrybrook community centre, I'm gonna go check'er out."
