Capote (2005)

This Oscar nominated film has Catherine Keener reprising her role from "40 Yr Old Virgin" and she's magnificent!
The film follows the life of Truman Capote from birth to death focusing primarily on his 30 year love affair with Gore Vidal.
Shot entirely on location in Capote's native Alabama, the film is an amazing exploration of what happens when the emotionally unavailable and svelte Capote finds his heart's desire. The special effects are incredible and the apocalpytic battle between Capote and the T-Rex has to be seen to be believed.
I would definitely give this movie a high five if I saw it walking down the street, I might even stop to chat with it. No simple head nods or 'what's up' for this movie!
